Dear Dajiah, stress seems to trigger my scalp issues. What daily habits or rituals do you recommend to keep my stress from showing up on my scalp?

The scalp and the nervous system are best friends — what you feel in your mind shows up in your follicles. When stress hits, circulation slows, oil glands misbehave, and inflammation flares.
Start small: deep breaths during shampooing, five minutes of quiet before bed, a gentle scalp massage when you feel tense. Your scalp responds to rhythm and routine. Feed it calm the same way you feed it nutrients. When you chill, your follicles exhale too.
